Freelance Copywriter
After spending years as a copywriter for an advertising agency
in Chicago, Timothy Richards decided that when he retired, he
wants to continue working and so he explored the possibility
of becoming a freelance copywriter. Having worked on so many
different advertising campaigns, Timothy amassed quite a number
of years of experience and it would be a shame to put it all
to waste, and he was not ready to simply sit around all day
and spend the rest of his life idle.
When Timothy officially ended his full time job at the agency,
he set up my own freelance copywriter firm and assembled a small
time of other freelancers to get things rolling. They called
on the people we knew from previous business relationships to
start getting work, and so it wasn't really difficult for them
to get started in the freelance writing business.
But there are those who want to become a freelance copywriter but find it difficult to find work. Yet there are so many resources out there, particularly on the internet, where one can find freelance work as a copywriter. For those who are avidly seeking opportunities, it is only a matter of time before the right one is available. So jump on it and get started.
Being a freelance copywriter is quite demanding, especially when you are working with a greater number of clients and having to manage multiple projects all at once can be quite a stressful and intimidating task. But with any work, those who have the ability to manage their time well and handle everything professionally will truly reap the benefits and rewards.
How much can a freelance copywriter earn? It really depends on the type of work that they do. Some can earn only enough to serve as a part time job, while others make it a full time career. The opportunities are endless!
