Copywriter Resume

Back when I relied on the services of copywriters, I would spend many hours browsing through various copywriter resume submitted from eager candidates in search for work. It wasn’t easy picking the right one, I must admit, and it definitely was a process in itself to go through resumes, pick out prospects and hire the perfect copywriter.

I remember one such experience when I was browsing through a copywriter resume and realized that the copywriter who had wanted the job was actually well experienced in the type of work that I had wanted done. She was a copywriter who had worked as a freelancer for various internationally known advertising agencies, and contributed to several projects that were a big success.

Although she wasn’t as famous as the campaigns she had worked on, just by going through her copywriter resume I realized how much potential she had to drive one of my client’s companies into success. You see, a client I had was looking for a team to launch a new product, and one of her requirements was a copywriter. I was in charge of putting that team together, so when I found this one particular copywriter, I was excited.

It turned out that she had more experience than what her original copywriter resume had mentioned. I slowly learned how she had so much fun at her previous projects primarily due to the fact that she enjoyed writing sales letters that led to successful campaigns and did nothing but drive results into the company. It wasn’t long before I saw her work unfolding before my eyes.

Now that she completed our project, she could gracefully add her accomplishment to her copywriter resume. I gladly provided her with a reference letter and told her that if she was looking for any work in the near future, she could contact me anytime.
